EMANCIPATION 15

Hi I am 15 and I quit living with my mom nearly 10 months ago now. My question is can I legally stay away from my mom by emancipation this soon or do I have to wait another year to get it. The judge gave my gaurdians gaurdianship over me, can I use this as another reason to be emancipated. I have a job and a place to stay if i get it and everyone agrees I shouldn't live with my mother ever again. Should I hold out another year to get it or just file now?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Ryan,

I am going to make an assumption (because you have court appointed guardians) that your mom was in some way deficient. If the courts removed you from your mom’s household and you were able to prove self-sufficiency, perhaps the courts would consider your case. However, at 15 it is highly unlikely that you have the maturity to live without a guardian. If the household you are in is a safe environment I doubt that a judge would grant emancipation.
